Meet Sharon
Sharon Cawthorne is a fully certified Feng Shui consultant with nearly 30 years experience, and she can help you to improve numerous areas of your life including career, health, finances, relationships, and so much more. Her Feng Shui journey began many years ago whilst working in IT for a very large Asian company. She watched as a Feng Shui Master analysed a potential new building the company wanted to buy, and decided whether it would bring 'Good Luck' to the company. It all looked highly technical and very interesting and from that moment, her Chinese Metaphysics journey had begun.
She is now a classically-trained Flying Stars Feng Shui consultant and a 5th disciple of the Tan Yang Wu School of Feng Shui, with further training and qualifications in Xuan Kong Da Gua and advanced Flying Star Feng Shui. Her training and qualifications include Master Joey Yap, Master Simon Chan, Grand Master Lillian Too and Grand Master Dr. Stephen Skinner amongst various others.
Sharon is also a fully qualified Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and often refers to Feng Shui as Acupuncture for houses or businesses, but without the needles.
Many of her clients often see her for Acupuncture initially, but very quickly she can ascertain if the clients health problems are pinpointed at the root cause which is the house or business the client occupies. Sharon can also identify certain illnesses or issues purely from the Feng Shui of a property, and clients are astonished when she relates that information back without her even being told.
People interact with the energy of a property. So, when the energy is imbalanced people can be affected in various ways from illnesses, to financial loss, to relationship breakups. Sharon understands how this works and can identify the problem areas of your property that needs addressing, whilst ensuring the good areas of your property used to the maximum gain.
Sharon understands that living with Feng Shui solutions has to be practical and workable, and she will not have your property looking like an 'Asian Restaurant' not unless you want your property to look like that. What is Feng Shui?
The term Feng Shui literally translates as “Wind-Water” in English, and classical Feng Shui which has been around for thousands of years aims to harmonise individuals with their surroundings and environment. So Feng Shui is ultimately about harmonising and balancing the energies of your home or business.
Every property has it's own unique blueprint of energy, which is called permanent energy. This changes with the energies of the years and the months, and it also changes according to whoever lives or works in the property. Every property is different which explains why some people and properties experience bad luck in some years and others in the same street do not. You may have also experienced 'Sick Building Syndrome' and this is where people frequently become ill after spending time there. So it could mean you get a headache or feel unwell, or even just drained after spending time there, and this is very often because of the Feng Shui of the building is making you unwell. You may be aware of properties where frequently the marriage of the occupants breaks down, or they suffer from financial disaster. This is very often attributed to inauspicious Feng Shui energy of that property, and it happens quite often.
There are various schools of Feng Shui, and in some schools the information is very generic. These schools don't take into account who occupies the property, and the annual or monthly energy changes. This is why Flying Stars Feng Shui is far superior as its many layers take into account the occupants and the different types of energy. Every Feng Shui consultation is tailored to the client, depending on the circumstances and the desired outcome.
Remember, there is no such thing as the 'perfect' Feng Shui home" although we do strive to make it the best it can possibly be. Every property will have good and bad energy, and although we can't cure the negative energy 100%, we can make a big difference. The key to good Feng Shui is knowing how to negate and manipulate the negative energy as much as possible, whilst enhancing the good energy for everyone to benefit.

Children and Pets
Children and animals are very sensitive to the energies that are around us, especially in properties. Feng Shui can help to improve the health and wellbeing of your pets too, and generally they sense energy changes much quicker than we do. Dogs and cats know when you're on the way home, and they know when you aren't feeling good or indeed when something is wrong. So it's not surprising children often have trouble sleeping in certain rooms or animals like occupying specific areas. This can all be attributed to the Feng Shui in the property.
Consultations
There are various options of Feng Shui consultation, you can choose from either an On-Site Consult or a Virtual Consult, so no matter where you are in the world a Feng Shui consult is possible.
Whichever consult you choose, you decide what level whether you want depending on your budget and requirements.
You also have the option to choose whether you want to add Xuan Kong Da Gua date selection into your consult, this will advise you the best dates for you to make changes. This is especially good if you are moving into a new house.
Prices are based on the type of consultation you require and the size of the property.
On-Site Consultation
Prior to visiting your home Sharon will require the following:

A blueprint/floorplan/layout of your property which must be to scale. Please also include the location of stove, doors, beds and desks (if any) in the plan.
- Details of the current occupants.

Other information will be discussed prior to your consultation.
During the visit:

Sharon will spend approximately 2-3 hours with you, which will mainly consist of various compass readings, assessing the surrounding buildings and landscape formations that may impact your property.
After the visit:

Your report will be completed approximately 2-3 weeks after your visit. The report will consist of various pages of information on a room by room basis, and taking into account each family member.
The consultation:

Sharon will then arrange either a virtual call at a convenient time and date after you have had time to read and digest your report to discuss your report step by step... This will take approximately 2 - 3 hours. (sometimes longer depending on the size of the property).
After the consultation:

Additionally, there will be a follow-up call approximately 3 months later to see how you are getting on and to answer any further questions you may have.
- Depending on the level of consultation you have chosen, your after support can range from 3 months to 1 year after the consultation date. This means you are fully supported in your journey and it gives you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any issues which may have arisen.
Virtual Consultation
Prior to your on-line consultation Sharon requires the following:

A blueprint/layout/floor plan of your property which must be to scale. Please also include the location of the stove, doors, beds and desks (if any) in the plan.
- Details of the current occupants.

You will also need to purchase a compass to provide a compass reading - Sharon can recommend various types. Unfortunately, a mobile phone app is not be sufficient due to the accuracy which is required. Sharon will be able to guide you through this process, in order to provide the most accurate reading.

Other information will be discussed prior to your consultation.
Virtual Consultation:

Your report will initially take approximately 2-3 weeks for Sharon to compile fully after receiving all the information required. This report will consist of various pages of information on a room by room basis to enhance and negate the energies accordingly.

End Result
The end result of a good Feng Shui consultation will be very subtle, changes to the property will not looked forced or unnatural. Sharon does not offer a “new age” style of Feng Shui; there are no prayers, no rituals, no ceremonies or bell ringing, no chanting or anything else that you may feel uncomfortable with. The consultation is also a learning experience for you, on traditional and authentic Feng Shui.
